5 Reasons to choose Align Pelvic Health
We specialize exclusively in pelvic health instead of it being an afterthought in an orthopedic setting.
Our sessions are held in a clean, calming space instead of a busy open gym environment.
We evaluate your entire system as a whole instead of focusing on one area of the body.
Your physical therapist will be physically present the entire session instead of handing you off to an aide or assistant.
We believe in coordinating care with all members of your healthcare team instead of little to no communication.
FAQs
-
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized branch of physical therapy that focuses on the structures surrounding your pelvis, abdomen and spine. It can also include an internal assessment via the vaginal and/or rectal canal with your consent. This area can often be a driver in pain, bowel/bladder issues and sexual dysfunction.
-
The first session is your initial evaluation. You will meet with the physical therapist to discuss your concerns in depth and may choose to disclose your health history and anything related to your diagnosis. Following the history, your physical therapist will perform a physical exam including a movement analysis, posture screen, range of motion and muscle testing. In addition, the physical therapist may perform a pelvic floor exam. This includes assessment of the muscles of your pelvis externally and internally via your vaginal and/or rectal canal. You may opt to defer the internal exam, however it provides very valuable information and assists in a lasting recovery.
-
You do not need a prescription to initiate care, however we will require a doctor to sign off on our treatment plan within 30 days of your evaluation. This is a seamless process and can be completed by our office staff.

I would highly recommend Align to anyone who is looking for support for pelvic health. Jessica is incredibly professional and always made me feel comfortable. She answered all my questions without judgement. She also tailored our sessions specifically to my needs or requests. I went to her for postpartum support and my symptoms had completely resolved after just a few sessions. Highly recommend.

Jessica is amazing! After two years of having an abdominal separation since giving birth, she helped me finally close it completely. As a result, my low back and hip flexor pain have also disappeared. I’m so grateful for her expertise and support.

Jessica was phenomenal and helped me tremendously with my prostatitis symptoms I had experienced for over 6 months. I had tried many treatment plans and seen many specialists during this time, and nothing worked as much as when I saw Jessica for about 6 weeks or so. Her in-office treatments along with her teachings of certain cues and home exercises worked wonders for me. And now after 6 sessions or so, my symptoms are either gone correctly or completely self-manageable. I couldn’t be more thankful or recommend her enough.
